a day a week, day six
I remember a short backpacking overnight with Andy a couple years back, we were hanging out around sunset and I get up to pee and he made a joke like "make sure to use the trees that correspond with your gender assigned at birth" and I fucking lost it, that was easily the best trans joke I'd ever heard. And it made my heart light and happy, as it does even now just thinking back to the moment. These are the kinds of people to keep in your life.
It's been a long day. Lots of meetings, a chunk of feelings, a short walk on a split heel. I don't know that I have much to share or recap.
Our sweet neighbors have some wall art that says "Whatever you are, be a good one." Be you, be good, be a good one. That's it.
